OWNERSHIP

Martin is a dad and husband, a good friend, a thinker, a simple man… not that smart really. He's 6 ft. tall, an eager student, and a 'doer'. Martin is not as good looking as his partners, in a hurry anymore, or a critic. He's a high school graduate, college dropout, Master Carpenter at 20, a born entrepreneur and quit his last 'job' at 23. Martin created multiple companies, is founder and acting president of Luxe Developments since 2003 and has no intentions to ever complete his college degree. His Mom is still talking to him about this.

Martin LANGLOIS

PRESIDENT, DIRECTOR

Gabriel is a son, a brother, a hard worker, a hockey player, bald, a beach chaser, a sniper and a 'doer'. He's positive, focused, driven, grounded and smarter than he looks. He's not mouthy, gullible or a critic. Gabriel is a high school graduate and received a degree in civil engineering. Survey said: “that ain’t for me``, moved west to join Sebastien and co-founded Allied. He makes sure Sebastien’s taxes are filed on time.

Gabriel OUELLETTE

VP - ESTIMATING, DIRECTOR

Sebastien is a son, a brother, a hard worker, a hockey player, bald, a beach chaser, a sniper, positive, focused, a 'doer', driven and is a wannabe surfer. Sebastien is not unfair, misleading or a critic. He's a school graduate, received a degree in refrigeration… that idea cooled off in a hurry. He then moved west and started dry walling at 21 and eventually found Allied Contractors in 2010. He hasn’t borrowed money from his parents since.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Allied has developed a diverse workforce with backgrounds from all over the world. We believe all employees have the ability to create value, deliver superior experiences and offer innovative ideas that better themselves, our team and our community. Building a culture that encourages growth and provides opportunity for success regardless of cultural or religious beliefs makes Allied a rich source
of new ideas and a benefit to our community and the construction industry
as a whole.

WORK PLACE ENVIRONMENT

Just walk into Allied’s head office and it won’t take too long to see that things are different here. While we have a board room, it’s typically empty in favor of the couches, coffee and movie area. Besides the physical differences, Allied strives to create a work place environment that is open, honest and hard working with the rewards that come along with success. We routinely visit the field, spend time with our work force and have the field at the office for events
and BBQ’s. Having no barriers between the office and the field helps to create an atmosphere of support and consistent communication.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
Corporate Social Responsibility
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

At Allied we support our staff – and we know our staff support local charities that matter to them. Each year we select a staff member and show them the love they deserve by donating or sponsoring them as they walk, run or volunteer for a worthy cause. Not only does this support them, but it contributes to making a difference for those in the community who need it the most. Culture extends beyond our front doors and into the lives of the people we call family and we can all feel good about that!

We have also gone digital! Tablets in the field and new technology in the office mean less paper. While we aren’t paperless just yet – we’re working on it. It’s just another small way Allied does its part to ensure we consider the environment and our impact on what we leave behind.

ALLIED HAS A SPECIAL FOCUS ON RECRUITING

ALLIED-CAREERSWe put a lot of emphasis on recruiting the brightest minds. We are continually working on making Allied one of the best companies we can in order to give field and office staff an opportunity they otherwise may not have had. With room to move up and programs such as profit sharing and benefits, we look after our people. Even if you’re not looking for a career with Allied yourself, we encourage you to take a look at our dedicated careers site at: Allied Careers or visit the careers tab above. Our tag line – Relentlessly Better -isn’t just marketing speak, it’s at the core of every decision we make. That includes our people and their opportunities and experiences.

RECRUITING
ALLIED’S DEDICATION TO CULTURE IS UNIQUE

ALLIED-SOCIALWe put as much effort into having fun as we put into executing the job flawlessly. Every month, at least once, the team comes together to celebrate our successes and losses as a group. We also hold special events in the summer such as the annual Stampede party and in the winter our staff holiday Party. We recognize birthdays from time to time, have a softball team, a hockey team and of course there are some practical jokers on our team. (watch your back).

Visit us at: Allied Social to keep up on events, happenings and the latest practical jokes.

OUR VERSION OF AN AGM (ONLY A LOT MORE FUN)

Tear downOnce a year, we shut down our job sites for an afternoon and bring everyone together. We tear down the walls and review what we have accomplished as a group. We also present the strategic plan for the following year. It’s a big event held off-site and it’s also a lot for fun. Food, drinks and, often games, make Tear Down The Walls something every employee looks forward to while giving everyone an opportunity to be apart of the company’s future success.

SAFETY IS A FOCUS. ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

All SafeSome say Zero injuries is not realistic. However, at Allied we focus so heavily on culture and behavior change that we believe it’s a number we can achieve. Eliminating unsafe behavior through ongoing processes, rather than making changes during scheduled analysis makes Allied’s safety program one that has already had a positive impact on injury numbers. To manage this program, we even hired a full-time safety expert to reach our objectives. Together we can build a culture that has a real chance reaching zero.
